Greek Life Rankings
Rankings are calculated from verified student reviews across six categories: Social Life, Academics, Brotherhood / Sisterhood, Philanthropy, Inclusivity, and Value for Cost. Scores are weighted by recency to reflect current chapter conditions.
How Rankings Are Calculated
- Minimum threshold:A chapter must have at least 3 approved reviews before its composite score is shown publicly. Chapters below this threshold are listed but marked as “Unranked.”
- Recency weighting:Reviews from the current semester carry full weight. Older reviews are weighted lower so scores reflect a chapter’s current state, not its reputation from years ago.
- Six categories: Each review rates Social Life, Academics, Brotherhood / Sisterhood, Philanthropy, Inclusivity, and Value for Cost on a 1–5 scale. The composite score is the average across all six categories, weighted by recency.
- Moderation: Only approved reviews count toward rankings. Flagged or removed reviews are excluded automatically and scores recompute.
